CHE WORKING GROUP CALLS

Alaska State Regional Group (CHE-AK)

CHE Alaska (CHE-AK) is a new regional partnership group of the Collaborative on Health and the Environment. CHE Alaska aims to foster collaboration around environmental health and justice education and policy efforts that are unique to Alaska.

CHE-AK maintains a web page on the Alaksa Community Action on Toxics website. You can learn more about CHE-AK there.

CHE-AK is a part of the larger umbrella of CHE Northwest, which includes two other state initiatives: CHE-Washington (CHE-WA), established in March 2003 and CHE-Oregon (CHE-OR), established in February 2005.

CHE-AK convened for the first time in December 2005 for a "Conference on Health and the Environment: A Clinical, Scientific and Public Health Convening with a Focus on Neurodevelopmental Diseases and Cancer" in Anchorage.

CHE Partners who are interested in joining forces with a group of individuals focused on tackling the challenges of health and the environment in Alaska are welcome to participate in this group.

Join CHE-AK

If you are already a CHE Partner and would like to join this group, please contact  Pamela Miller, Director of the Alaska Community on Toxics (ACAT): pkmiller@akaction.net
