Alyssa Te, MPH

Science Communications Manager

Alyssa earned her Master of Public Health at George Washington University, where she discovered her passion for environmental health, mental health, and health communications and marketing. Prior to obtaining her Master's, Alyssa graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Professions. During her time at Temple, she was the Creative Director and Director of Public Relations with Swipes for Philadelphia, a nonprofit organization that addresses food insecurity among college students. Alyssa also worked with Grassroots Health on program evaluation and communicated findings to internal and external stakeholders. Alyssa worked with CHE as a Science Communication Intern and Fellow in 2024, and stepped into the Manager position in 2025. Being naturally curious and an avid learner, Alyssa is excited to continue expanding her knowledge and help encourage people to have more informed conversations and take action for a safer and healthier future.
